Dennis W. “Mutka” Paulin, 72, of Southwest Greensburg, died Saturday, July 1, 2017 at his home. He was born April 24, 1945 in Greensburg, a son of the late William and Dorothy (Brodesky) Paulin. Prior to retirement he had been a long haul truck driver. He was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg; an Army veteran serving from 1967 to 1969 in Quinon Vietnam. Denny was a member of Amvets Post #88, a life member of VFW Post #33, both of Greensburg; American Legion Post #981, of South Greensburg; and the Moose Lodge #368 of Emporium, PA. He was a member of Camp At Last in Emporium, PA., his favorite place, other than home. As an outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing, his Harley Davidson trike and tinkering in the garage. He was the former owner of Mutka’s Bar, in Greensburg. He is survived by his wife Carol A. (DeFabo) Paulin; a son, Michael W. Paulin, of Greensburg; a daughter, Michelle L. Clements and her husband David, of Woodbury, MN; 3 grandchildren: Natalie, Amanda and Cole “Turkey Bird” Clements; a sister: Janice E. Sabatos and her husband John J., of Latrobe; 2 aunts: Julia Repasky, of Greensburg and Mary Ann Long, of Irwin; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Full military honors will follow accorded by the VFW Post #33 Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. www.bachafh.com
