William F. Rudolph, 74, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born December 4, 1948, in Greensburg, a son of the late Eldras B. and Betty Louise (Bell) Rudolph. William was a graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and attended Point Park University for two years then The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg where he earned a bachelor’s degree. William was an Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement Bill was the owner of William F. Rudolph Insurance Agency. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and Greensburg Rotary Club. He was also a former director of “Go Greensburg” and GVFD Museum Board. William devoted his life to the Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department where he was a life member of Hose Co. No. 1 and served as Captain. He was a member of the Westmoreland County Firemen’s Association and the Pennsylvania State Firemen's Association. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary H. (Harrold) Rudolph; two daughters, Dawn Rudolph Kantoris (Scott) and Rebecca Turner (Adam); two grandsons, Everett Turner, and Duke Turner; one sister, Marilyn Marnell (James); two nephews, James Marnell and Benjamin Marnell. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:30AM at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg. The Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department will conduct a service at 6 PM Friday in the funeral home.
