William H. Dick

William H. Dick, 92, of Lycippus, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Independence Health Latrobe Hospital.  He was born April 2, 1931 in Greensburg, a son of the late Victor D. and N. Gertrude (Dick) Schworer.  He served with the US Army during the Korean War.  Prior to retirement he worked at Pakco and previously Carborundum in Latrobe.  He was a member of Unity Township American Legion Post #982.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lois J. (Taylor) Dick and a son-in-law, Timothy C. Piper, Sr.  He is survived by his children, Kathleen A. Piper, Susan M. Piccolo and husband Ralph, William J. Dick and David A. Dick and wife Laurie, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity where funeral services will be held at 10 AM Saturday with The Rev. Jason E. Schweinberg officiating.  Interment will follow in Lycippus Community Cemetery, Unity Township.
