Vivian (Palmaverde) Ream, 92, of Greensburg, died Saturday, April 11, 2026, at her home. She was born January 10, 1934, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Joseph S. and Henrietta (Lynch) Palmaverde. She was a loving mother and a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Ream, Sr.; a son, Robert W. Ream, Jr.; a brother, Joseph T. Palmaverde; and a great-nephew, Louie Farrell. She is survived by her three children, Sharon L. Rizzardi (Anthony) of Youngwood, J. Scott Ream of Greensburg, and David V. Ream (Cheryl) of Jeannette; eight grandchildren, Shawn Ream, Patrick Ream (Inge), Tony Rizzardi, Catlyn Bailey (Steven), Dr. Vincent Ream (Rebecca), Luke Ream, Jarrett Ream (Carly), and Jaclyn Scarpa (Chett); two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Brooks Ream; a sister, Betty Farrell (Jim) of Greensburg; a daughter-in-law, Georgienne Ream of Greensburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 11:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 12 PM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
