Victoria L. (Rush) Poska

Victoria “Tory” L. (Rush) Poska, a fiercely devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born August 19, 1959, in Waynesburg, PA, a daughter of the late Charles “Buck” and Deanna (Lemasters) Rush.  For over 34 years, Tory and her beloved husband, David, worked side by side on countless DIY projects, turning their many houses into warm and inviting homes. Her passion for creating beautiful spaces was matched only by her deep love for her children and grandchildren, to whom she was endlessly devoted. While her kids were growing up, she was a PTA Mom, always attended Friday night football games cheering her kids on, and they always had dinner at 5 as a family. This gave her children the best experience growing up. Tory enjoyed skiing, traveling in their RV, and working for various schools and at the Arnold Palmer Airport. Tory’s home was always filled with laughter, love, and the sweet scent of freshly baked cookies, which she made in abundance for family gatherings. She found great joy in hosting family parties, always ensuring everyone felt welcome and cared for. Tory’s unwavering commitment to her family, her kind heart, and her ability to make any space feel like home will be cherished forever. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and warmth.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Deanna Annette Poska.  She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, David A. Poska, who she loved more than he could ever know; her son, Joshua E. Poska (Gia G); her daughter, Farrah Daugherty; five grandchildren, Alyssa P. Adams, Eric Edwards, Carmen Poska, Jaxon Edwards, and Marielle Poska; four brothers, Charles R. Rush (Lorraine), Roy Lee Rush, Michael S. (Jane) Rush, and Gregory Rush; and several nieces and nephews.  She will be deeply missed but forever remembered. We had so much more life to live with you, so many milestones to share. You will forever be missed. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M.
