Veronica Elizabeth (Gongo) Goodlin, 81, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was born September 6, 1943, in Greensburg. Veronica was a blood center coordinator at the American Red Cross and also helped at her son’s business, Scotty G’s Pizza. She loved to sit outside with a breeze and the sun shining in her face. Veronica loved going to the beach and visiting her friends and family. She was a very giving person and would do anything for anyone. It brought her tremendous joy to do things for others. She has never met a person she didn’t love. Veronica was a loving and devout mother who put her children above all. Her family truly meant the world to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother, Verna Gongo; her father, Andrew Gongo, of Pleasant Unity; husband, Donald Goodlin, Sr., of Greensburg; and two brothers, William Gongo and Andrew Gongo, both of Greensburg. She is survived by her children, Donald Goodlin, Jr., of Greensburg, Scott Goodlin, of Latrobe, and Traci Pape and husband Peter, of Greensburg; five grandchildren, Anthony and Adam Goodlin, and Ryan, Noah, and Joshua Pape; two great grandchildren, Oliver and Logan Goodlin; a sister, Patricia Zyvith. of Bovard; two brothers, Alex Gongo and wife Kathy, of Fort Allen and Robert Crise, of Greensburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and many close friends.
