Timothy A. Strobel, 39, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021. He was born March 2, 1981, in Butler, a son of Vincent A. and Judith E. (Hughes) Strobel, of New Stanton. Tim was a self-employed carpenter and avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hiking, rock climbing, fishing, camping, snowmobiling, snow skiing, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, boating and water skiing. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Marcie Rose Caligiure-Strobel; his daughter, Abigail Rose "Abby" at home; his brother, William Strobel (Christian), of Mt. Pleasant; two sisters, Janine Heatley (David), of Hunker, and Michelle Walton (Justin), of Greensburg; maternal grandmother, Mable Hughes, of Renfrew; mother and father-in-law, John and Joanne Caligiure; two brothers-in-law, Chase Caligiure (Dori) and Marc Caligiure (Kristyn) and several beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as many loving friends and honorary nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul Catholic Church, 820 Carbon Road, Greensburg. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH ON THURSDAY. Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Hempfield Township. Please be prepared to adhere to all current health guidelines, including face masks and social distancing.
