Theodore B. Barko, Sr.

Theodore B. Barko, Sr., 90, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Hempfield Manor.  He was born December 11, 1933, in Charleroi.  Prior to retirement he had been employed by Jones Motor and had also been previously employed by B&P Trucking.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bernice Giunta.  He is survived by his wife, Frances I. (Bowman) Barko; two sons, Theodore Barko, Jr. and wife Lori, and Timothy Barko and wife Lynn; his daughter, Cheryl Carpenter and husband Howard; and four grandchildren, Tiffany, Stacey, Tanner, and Theo.  Friends will be received from 1 to 2 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg where a funeral service will immediately follow at 2 PM.  Interment is private in Westmoreland County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westmoreland County Food Bank or the Tri-County Meals on Wheels.  www.bachafh.com
