Terry L. Keitz, 73, of Pleasant Unity, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Norvelt, a son of the late Leonard J. and Doris J. (Baker) Keitz. He was a graduate of Hurst High School and served two tours as a sergeant with the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Prior to retirement, he was a coal miner with Republic Steel, Penn Hills, and also at Malik and Sons. Terry was a gentle man, was Catholic by faith and loved his Lionel trains. He also enjoyed fishing and making his custom fishing lures. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diane L. Cook; and his brothers, Gregory A. and Leonard J. Keitz. He is survived by his best friend and wife, Cecilia K. "Ceal" (Malik) Keitz; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; his godchildren, Missy Hutter Palco and Hannah Taylor Gerard, whom he loved very much; special brothers-in-law, Russ Hutter and Dave Malik; sisters-in-law, Joanne Hutter, Martha Gerard and Lorie Malik; great-nieces and a great-nephew; his namesake, Kashdon Ryder Lee, and a special adopted daughter, Andrea King.
