Teresa M. Austeri

Teresa M. Austeri, 88, of Delmont, died Wednesday, May 22, 2024, in Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born November 21, 1935, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John V. and Mary (Temporali) Austeri. Teresa had worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone and AT&T. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert, Rudolph (Jane), John, and Joseph (Pauline) Austeri; a brother-in-law, Richard Shaner; and a nephew, Robert Austeri. She is survived by her partner, Robert Heaps; a brother, Thomas Austeri, and wife Nikki; a sister, Helen Shaner; a sister-in-law, Becky Austeri; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 12 to 1PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will begin at 1 PM Friday in the funeral home with Deacon John Zombar officiating.
