Tamara S. (Schnupp) Johnson

Tamara S. Johnson, 58, of New Stanton, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  She was born December 4, 1963, in Albuquerque, NM, a daughter of Edythe B. “Bonnie” (Thomas) Schnupp, of New Stanton, and the late Richard D. Schnupp.  Tamara was a graduate of Hempfield High School Class of 1981 and attended the New York Institute of Art and Design.  She worked as the head cashier at Hempfield High School and was the owner of Fauxscapes in Youngwood.  She was a member of Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, Greensburg and attended Word of Life Ministries, Greensburg.  Tamara was a member of the Time for Herbs Club and was a founding member of An Herbal Gathering Club.  She had a great passion for art.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Proud.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, Donald D. Johnson; three sons, Aaron Johnson (Julie), Christian Johnson (Whitney), and Andrew Johnson (Stephanie), all of South Carolina; six grandchildren, Luke, Zach, Charlotte, Kash, Kingsley, and Finn; and her sister, Diane Bartels (Tim), of Greensburg.  Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Additional visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM Monday at Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM with the Rev. Caroline Clifford officiating.  Interment will follow in Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G.
