Steve A. Montgomery

Steve A. Montgomery, 74, of Harrison City, died Monday, May 1, 2023, in Walden’s View Senior Living, North Huntingdon.  He was born July 24, 1948, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late William Alvin and Charlotte Mae (Allen) Montgomery.  Prior to retirement he had been employed as a salesman in the eye care industry. Steve had been a pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies.  He was a member of the Italian Club and Polish Club, both in Export.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte A. Montgomery; and two brothers, Gregg and Jeff Montgomery. He is survived by his wife, Janice E. (Condrac) Montgomery; his son, Ryan Montgomery (Brittany); two granddaughters, Charlotte and Layla; a stepson, Shane Stevick; a sister-in-law, Laura Montgomery; three nephews, Brett Montgomery (Kathryn), Jeff Montgomery (Linda), and Scott Montgomery (Christine); and several great nieces and great nephews.  Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 PM with the Rev. David H. Clement officiating. Private interment will be held at Westmoreland County Memorial Park.
