Stanley Joseph “Stas’” Wojciechowski, 74, of Hunker, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, in Select Specialty Hospital, Latrobe. He was born November 10, 1947, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Stanley and Florence (Gajda) Wojciechowski. He was a graduate of St. Francis University Class of 1969 and was a member of Phi Kappa Theta. Stas’ was a US Army veteran. Prior to retirement he had been employed as a purchasing business manager. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood where he served as an usher. He coached his children in baseball, softball, and basketball for many years. He is survived by his wife, Carole J. (Haube) Wojciechowski; his son, Jason Wojciechowski (Shelly), of Ligonier; two daughters, Kristin Wojciechowski (fiancé Leo Conklin and his son Talon), of Pittsburgh, and Meghan Bobnar (Michael III), of Irwin; was the best Dziadzia to his grandson, Michael Bobnar IV; brother, Joseph Wojciechowski (Julie Reaumond), of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Eileen Gallagher (Dennis “Tyke”), of Natrona Heights; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 7 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 10:15 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 11 AM in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Youngwood.
