Shirley Mae Matyonosky, 73, formerly of New Stanton, died Friday, May 10, 2024, at Loyalhanna Care Center, Derry Township. She was born September 25, 1950, in Oregon, a daughter of the late Joseph J. Mase and Jean L. Farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Matyonosky, Sr., a son, Scott Matyonosky, a granddaughter, Krystal Matyonosky, a great granddaughter, Aria Woznick, stepfather, Robert E. Klosky, stepmother, Marie Rupert and a brother, Joseph J. Mase, Jr. She is survived by a son, Ronald J. Matyonosky; a daughter, Pamala Patton (Linda Newhouse); eight grandchildren, Tiffany Piper (Kenneth), Jennifer Patton (Theodore), Danielle Gunn (Roland), Destiny, R.J. and Lyndsee Matyonosky, Amanda Woznick and Beth Schrecengost; 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Ronald A. Mase (Sharon); two sisters, Cindy A. Uhall (George) and Diana L. Baird (Randie); and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with The Rev. David H. Clement officiating.
