Sean M. Kelly

Sean M. Kelly, 58, of Apollo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at AHN Wexford Hospital, surrounded by love. He was born May 13, 1967, in Pittsburgh, and was a 1985 graduate of Hempfield Area High School.

Sean was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, a lifelong truck driver, and a man who loved the open road — especially on his Harley. He lived for the freedom of the ride and carried a strong work ethic and sense of pride in everything he did.

Sean was preceded in death by his father, Robert Kelly, and wife, Nancy; as well as his mother, Barbara (Miller) Long, and her husband, George.

He is survived by two daughters, Noel Kelly (Bradley Hansen) of Millheim, PA, and Seanna Kelly (Dalton Reedy) of Statesville, NC; and his five grandchildren: Aubree Klobucar, Brantley Reedy, Brilee Reedy, Madison Hansen, and Brooks Reedy.

He is also survived by two sisters, Gretchen Kelly, her daughter, Hayley Miller, and Leslie Kelly-Yonek (Edward); along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and lifelong friends. And of course, his loyal dogs, Luna and Hercules, who never left his side.

Sean will be remembered most for his quick wit, his stubborn but soft heart, and the deep love he held for his family and friends.  His laughter—full, contagious, and unmistakable—brought joy to those around him and will echo in the hearts of all who knew him.  Whether he was telling a trucking story from the road, sharing photos from across the country, talking about his days riding Harley's, cracking a joke only he could get away with, or spoiling his grandkids rotten, he lived life on his own terms and with a heart full of love.

We are especially grateful for the kindness and compassion shown by Sean's colleagues at Reinsfelder of Pittsburgh and the team at Mitsubishi Warrendale during such a tragic time.

A funeral liturgy will begin at 3:30 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Friends will be received immediately following the liturgy from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to directly assist with funeral expenses.
