Sarah "Sally" C. (Owens) Moyer

Sarah “Sally” C. Moyer, 88, of Jeannette, died Monday, June 29, 2026, in the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg. She was born August 10, 1937, in Bellefonte, Pa., a daughter of the late Ralph and Emma (Knisely) Owens. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Greensburg. Sally was a devoted patriot and a Steelers fan. She loved the red, white, and blue as well as the black and gold!  She was an avid antique collector and dealer, specializing in glassware. Sally enjoyed cooking and at one time had a thriving cake decorating business. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Joy Ann and Gladys Owens. She is survived by her loving husband, Wayne A. Moyer; three sons, Daniel S. (Barbara), Christopher A. and Thomas W. Moyer (Carol); four grandchildren, Cortney, John, Tyler, and Lauren; two great-grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, John Roberts. Friends will be received from 3 to 6 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg (www.bachafh.com), where a prayer will conclude the visitation at 6 PM lead by her Pastor, Rev. Shirley Musick.  A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 11th at the Trinity United Church of Christ, 139 N Main St, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation www.t2t.org.
