Sarah "Sally" Moffa Obituary

Sarah “Sally” (Little) Moffa, 97, of Grapeville, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026.  She was born September 27, 1928, in Pittsburgh.  As intelligent as she was kind, Sally graduated in the top of her high school class and met her late husband while they worked at Westinghouse Air Brake. She loved working with all the friends she made during her time at K-Mart. She was a talented artist, but even better at caring for those around her. She volunteered much of her time at Life Church in Greensburg for many years, maintaining close fellowship with the community there. She enjoyed feeding the neighborhood animals, watching the Price is Right, and having meaningful talks with the people in her life, but loved few things more than a roasted marshmallow.

She is survived by her brother, Harry “Duke” Little and his wife, Marjorie Little; her daughter, Martha Moffa-Kroll and husband, Barry; her son, Mark Moffa; grandchildren, Sara (Moffa) Monnich and husband, Grant Monnich, Samuel Moffa and wife Alissa (Barron) Moffa, and Antonio Moffa; great grandchildren, Bailey and Piper Monnich; and her kitty cat. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena (Wolf) Little and Harry Little; her husband, Salvatore Moffa; and her daughter-in-law, Eileen “Beanie” (Cole) Moffa. An unstoppable force for good, she leaves behind a legacy of love, light, and laughter.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg for the community that knew and loved her so well. A Celebration of Life will begin at 12 PM on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Life Church, 372 Slate Run Rd., Greensburg, PA 15601. Interment will be held at a later date. The family would like to extend its sincere thanks to the good people of Amedisys Hospice for taking such good care of Sally.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7;
