Sara M. (Hale) Kuhel, 92, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at her home. She was born September 19, 1931, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John Edwin and Ruth Edith (Keenan) Hale. Prior to retirement she had been employed by Nutrition Inc. at Greensburg Salem Middle School. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg. Sara loved to crochet, garden, play bingo, and listen to oldies music. She also enjoyed dancing in her younger years, and dollar store shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph T. Kuhel; and a brother, Joseph C. Hale. She is survived by a son, David Kuhel (Bonnie); four daughters, Debra O’Bruba (Kevin), Darla Beers (Frederick), Donna McManus (Daniel Blaszkowski, Sr.), and Dana Kuhel; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
