Sandra L. (Woytus) Basenback

Sandra L. Basenback, 76, of Unity Township, died Friday, April 12, 2024 surrounded by loved ones at home.  She was born May 15, 1947 in Latrobe, a daughter of the late Joseph J. Woytus and Mary (Bagi) Woytus Marcinko.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David A. Woytus and a niece, Lynn Woytus.  She is survived by four children, Mark Basenback and wife Lori of Latrobe, Matthew Basenback and wife Cary of Brunswick, GA, Andrea Dexter of Acme and Christopher Basenback and wife Lauren of Hollidaysburg, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister, Joan Woytus of Greensburg, a brother, John Marcinko of Youngstown, family friend and caregiver, Chrissy Cinibulk, a great niece and her canine companion Suzy.  Private arrangements by LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  Private inurnment in Unity Cemetery, Unity Township.  Memorial contributions may be made to Action for Animals, PO Box 814, Latrobe, PA  15650.
