Rose Mary Twigger Obituary

Rose Mary “Rosie” Twigger, 66, of Greensburg, died Sunday, August 29, 2021 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born June 7, 1955 in Kittanning, a daughter of the late Paul Harley Toy and Elizabeth (McKain) Toy Fennell.  She had been employed by Redstone Highlands in the dietary department and prior to that at Excela Health in the billing department.  She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Rosie loved her Friday night dates with Joe, visiting with Chad, Cheryl, and her grandson John Finnigan at the North Carolina beaches, and loved all the residents of Redstone. She enjoyed being with family, her girl’s days out, flea-ticking, and antique shopping.  Rosie gave to many charities for children and religious organizations.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Nicole R. Mealer, and her mother-in-law Joann Twigger.  She is survived by her loving husband Joseph F. Twigger, III, their son, Chad J. Twigger (Cheryl) of Swansboro, NC, her grandson John Finnigan Twigger, father-in-law, Joseph F. Twigger Jr., of Greensburg; two sisters-in-law Pam Evancho (George) of Acme, and Deborah Aller (William) of Latrobe. She absolutely adored her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, they were loved so very much by Rosie.  Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Funeral liturgy will be held on Thursday at funeral home at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. www.bachafh.com
