Rose A. Pallitta, 84, of Greensburg, died Friday, June 17, 2022, at her home. She was born March 2, 1938, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John W. Sr. and June V. (Eicher) Poole. She had been a member of Possum Hollow Rod & Gun Club and the former Trauger Firemen's Club. Rose enjoyed her cabin life in Cooks Forest and flower gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M. Pallitta Sr.; daughter, Debbie Palmer; a son, Jay A. Palmer; two sisters, Edith Wolfe and Barbara Trice; and her boyfriend, Joseph Thomas. She is survived by her sons, John E. Palmer and Donald M. Pallitta, Jr. and wife, Deborah, all of Greensburg; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her brother, John W. Poole Jr., of Jeannette; two sisters, Betty Klebau, of Ohio, and Audrey Nightrose, of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. David H. Clement officiating.
