Ronald Caruso Obituary

Ronald A. Caruso, 87, of Jeannette, died Friday, March 28, 2025, in Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. He was born September 24, 1937, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Anthony and Grizella (Caruso).  Prior to retirement Ronald was the owner and proprietor of Caruso’s Catering. Ronald was a very proud United States Marine Corp Veteran.  He was a member of Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland County, the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg, and the Marine Corp League. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two sisters, Carol and Gloria.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marianna (Widmar) Caruso; three children, Tony Caruso, Jill Gunniers, and Becca Criscione; six grandchildren, Kaylee, Shane, Austin, Ryan, Brandon, and Garrett; sister-in-law, Donna Hess; and special grandsons through the Big Brother program, Adrian, Mikey, and Robert.  Friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Additional viewing hours will be from 10 to 11 AM Thursday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral service to begin at 11 AM with Pastor Lewis officiating.  Full military honors will be accorded immediately following the funeral service by the VFW Post No. 33, Greenburg Honor Guard. Private interment in Westmoreland County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Brothers, 106 N. Main St, Greensburg, PA 15601 or Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland County, 207 Hudson Ave, Greensburg, PA 15601.  The Greater Greensburg Marine Corps League will conduct a service at 7:30 PM Wednesday in the funeral home.  www.bachafh.com
