Robert J. Shogan, 68, of Mt. Pleasant, died Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born July 7, 1953, in Fauquier, Va., a son of the late Joseph R. and Arline (Gamache) Shogan. He graduated top of his class and received his associate's degree in HVAC from Triangle Tech, and prior to retirement, he worked for NOCO Energy in Akron, N.Y. Prior to his stroke, Robert enjoyed fishing, wood working, building models and working on the history of the family tree. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Charles Shogan; and a sister, Susan Shrayer. He is survived by his wife, Alla (Kozak) Shogan; two daughters, Lindsie Lloyd and husband, James, of Acme, and Aleksandra "Sasha" Shogan, of Mt. Pleasant; and three stepchildren, Andriy Zaverukha and wife, Ali, of Greensburg, Max Zaverukha and wife, Pia, of Tucson, Ariz., and Jami Mundis and husband, Tony, of Dallastown; seven grandchildren, Brice, Charles, Hannah, Rilee, Jack, Ava and Phoenix; two great-grandchildren, Brice Jr. and Alexander; two brothers, Gary Shogan and wife, Brenda, and Mark Shogan and wife, Amy, all of Stahlstown; and several nieces and nephews.
