Robert W. Luft

Robert “Bob” Luft, 67, of Latrobe, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, May 19, 2025.  Bob was the owner of Luft’s Asphalt Paving.  He was a loving husband, father, friend, and man of God. 

Bob loved the Lord.  He showed us through the life he lived and by giving of everything he had.  He loved his family and gave them guidance and strength.  Bob was a special friend to many.  He worked endlessly on jobs and at home.  He loved all his pets and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and antiquing. He was loving and kind. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Pauline Luft; brother-in-law, Randy Smith; and father-in-law, Elwood Smith.  He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Yvonne; son, Aaron Luft (Sarah); daughter, Jillian Henderson (Ronald); grandchildren, Madison, Mikaela, Ronald, Isaac, and Benjamin; mother-in-law, Burnetta Smith; aunt, Marge Beers; step-mother, Janice Luft; siblings, Tina Mattis (Brian Thompson), Michael Luft (Kim), Tony Luft, and David Luft; nephew, Travis Smith (Alisha Slusser); niece, Racheal Baer (Maverick); and many relatives and friends. 

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Centerline Church, 7790 State Route 819, Hunker, PA 15639.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Friday in the church with Pastor Dan Mack officiating.  Private interment in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Centerline Church.  LEO M.
