Richard J. Rock

Richard J. Rock, 81, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg.  He was born June 22, 1940 in Latrobe, a son of the late Anthony and Anna (Resnick) Rock.  He was a 1957 graduate of Greater Latrobe Senior High School and served with the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He was a life member of the American Legion Post No. 941.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. (Camarote) Rock; his brother, Ronald A. Rock; two brothers-in-law, Leonard Kikel, and Anthony Camarote Jr.; sister-in-law, Mary Grace Helman; and nephew, Scott Kikel.  He is survived by his son, Martin A. Rock and fiancé, Sharon Ziance Lauffer, of Latrobe; his daughter, Michele Cenis and husband Rick, of Acme; three grandchildren, Gina Louis and husband Kyle, of Herndon, VA, Alyssa Rock, of Herndon, VA, and A.J. Rock, of West Point, NY; brother, Ernest Rock, of Ohio; brother-in-law, Joseph Camarote and wife Patricia, of Crabtree; three sisters-in-law, Sarah Rock, and Nancy Kikel, both of Latrobe, and Vicki Camarote, of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews.  There will be no public visitation.  A celebration of Richard’s life will be held at a later date.  Private interment in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree.  Leo M.
