Richard F. Janesko, 81, of Greensburg, died Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Walden’s View Senior Living, Irwin. He was born September 13, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Michael S. and Veronica M. (Sosko) Janesko. He was a graduate of East Huntingdon High School class of 1961 and served in the US Army reserves. Prior to retirement he worked at Gatling Auto Parts in Latrobe and Greensburg, and previously at Volkswagen and Sony in New Stanton. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Marguerite. Richard was dedicated to his family, was his grandkids biggest fan and along with his wife created woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine T. (Rozinsky) Janesko. He is survived by his daughters, Kristen Farabaugh (Jeremy) and Keri Feldman (Casey) all of Penn Township, 2 grandchildren, Zachary Feldman and Hayden Farabaugh, his brother, Raymond Janesko (Kathryn) of Mt. Pleasant and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Monday in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Benedict Church, Marguerite. Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery, Unity Township. The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice for their recent care and the dedicated neighbors and friends who were a part of Rich's daily life following Elaine's passing.
