Richard C. Caldwell, 92, of Greensburg, died Friday, October 11, 2024, in Greene Health and Rehab Center. He was born August 21, 1932, in Greensburg, a son of the late Wallace and Margaret (Reese) Caldwell. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Richard enjoyed watching the Steelers, gardening and had a love for cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty L. (Piper) Caldwell; two sons, Rich and Brian Caldwell; a daughter, Diane Gindlesperger; two brothers, Robert and Clifford Caldwell; and four sisters, LaVerna Caldwell, Josephine Thomas, Bernice Brosnahan and Virginia Benson. He is survived by four grandchildren, Michael Gindlesperger, Josh Gindlesperger, Mark Gindlesperger and Rachael Crusan (Nathan); and two great grandsons, Nathan Crusan, Jr. and Beau Crusan. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.
