Rhea M. (Johnson) Brajdic Yardley, 86, of Greensburg, died Sunday, June 23, 2024, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 20, 1937, in Mill Run, a daughter of the late Elliott and Mildred (Gough) Johnson. Rhea was an incredible wife, mother, sister, friend, and caretaker. She touched everyone who crossed her path and made them feel special. It did not matter if you were two or 92. Rhea had a unique knack of finding the good in everyone. Rhea was the epitome of class, full of warmth, and was always welcoming. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward T. Brajdic, Sr.; her second husband, John L. Yardley; three brothers, Billy Johnson, Chuck Johnson, and Lewis Johnson; and her step-grandson, Ryan Owens. She is survived by her daughter, Linda R. Brajdic; three sons, Dr. Edward T. Brajdic, Jr. (Barb), William E. Brajdic, and Richard A. Brajdic (Sonya); two step-daughters, Tammy Owens (Dan), and Jan Erny (Jim); three grandchildren, Stephanie Hoover (Jamie), Carissa Gibson (Kevin), and Kyle Brajdic; three step-grandchildren, Danielle Veahman (Jason), Ashlee Erny, and Jimmy Erny (Marissa); numerous great-grandchildren, and her brother, James Johnson (Joyce). Friends will be received from 4 to 7 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will begin at 11 AM Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
