Rejeanne Menard Obituary

Rejeanne Menard, of Youngwood, formerly of Brunswick, Maine, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and friend passed away on August 1, 2026, the day before her 66th birthday.

Rejeanne was a truly gifted healer and exuded a warmth and kindness to all she encountered. Her light was bright and her smile infectious. She loved God and loved her family deeply and expressed it in the way she lived her life. She was a well-loved and respected massage therapist and she touched many lives. She gained many different certifications in her field that allowed her to assist people in their healing in many different ways. It was meaningful work for her, and she was devoted to her practice, to God, and to living her life fully.

She had such an adventurous spirit and a deep passion for life. She loved plants, birds, and animals. She treated all life with compassion and nurtured everything she touched. Rejeanne enjoyed traveling to new places around the world, scuba diving in the deep sea, swimming, floating in a river, laughing, dancing, and whipping up the most incredible soups and meals from whatever fresh vegetables and meat she had on hand. She loved to nurture those she loved, and she did it so beautifully. Being a mémère to her granddaughter Breya was her favorite adventure of all.

Rejeanne is survived by her three children, Maegan Kelly and husband Ryan Kelly; Mary Avery and husband Jason Avery, and their children/grandchildren, Taylor, Leah, Cole, Daxten and Addison Avery; and Andrew Menard, and wife, Jessica Menard, and their daughter Breya Menard. She is also survived by her mother, Therese Marie Oullette Bernier; sisters, Vivian LaBonte and Michelle Bernier; brother, Thomas Bernier; nieces, Leslie Wilson, Aliesha Labonte, and Emily Luongo; and nephews, Stephen Gosselin, II, Horace Ward, Jr, Josef Ward, Dominique Ward, Edward Bernier, Matthew LaFreniere, and Adam Caesar; father of their children, Gregory Menard; as well as several grand nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends who she loved dearly.

Rejeanne was preceded in death by her father, Edward H. Bernier, Jr., her sister, Monique Ward; and her brother, Phillipe Bernier.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Friday, August 7, 2026, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  www.bachafh.com
