Regis Donahue Obituary

Regis F. Donahue, 92, of Greensburg, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at his home.  He was born February 10, 1934, in Robinson, Pa., a son of the late Cecelia Isabelle (Moyer) and William Donahue.  Regis was a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Korean War era.  Prior to retirement, he was the founder and proprietor of Donahue Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc.  He was a member of the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James and Harry Donahue, Bernadine Miller, Roberta Botteicher, and Valeria Jones.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Janet Donahue.

His son, Regis “Butch” Donahue (Roxann); with grandchildren, Amber Donahue, Jamie Kimmick (Jarred), Alexandra Herrholtz (Justin), David Donahue (Megan) and Daniel Donahue (Brianna); with great-grandchildren, Blaze, Knox, and Dash Carroll, Lyons and Radd Kimmick, Finn, Reese, and Keller Herrholtz, Briar and Kingsley, Hudson, Carter, Emmet, and Baylor Donahue.

His daughter, Denise Neville (Tom); with grandchildren, Bryan Neville (Adrienne) and Mindi Komarinski (Jeff); with great-grandchildren, Kayla Peterson (Levi) - who is expecting the first great-great-grandchild, Kylie and Dylan Neville, Sierra, Austin, and Jenna Komarinski.

His son, Tim Donahue (Amy); with grandchildren, Justin Donahue (Rachelle) and Kristin Ecker (Mark); with great-grandchildren, Connor and Abigail Donahue, Colin, Camryn, and Brynn Ecker.

His daughter, Cyndi Howard (Robert); with grandchildren, Shawna Rice (Michael), Alyssa Parke (Gabriel), and Zackery Howard (Rachel); with great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Dallas, and Channing Rice.

His daughter, Beth Couchenour (Robert); with grandchildren, Andrew Couchenour (Autumn), Oliver Couchenour (Santana), Katherine Couchenour (Mike Butti), Ann Eshelman (Ean), and Ben Couchenour; with great-grandchildren, Emilia, Elizabeth, Elliot, Rylie, and Axel Couchenour, Shayden and Tranter Butti.

His daughter, Amy Foschia (John); with grandchildren, Jay Foschia (Jessica), Tessa Clucas (Stephen), Sami Jo Shannon (Shane), and Cass Kovatch (Dylan); with great-grandchildren, John Avery, and Wyatt Foschia, Chet, Rory, and Navy Shannon, Lincoln, and Violet Kovatch.

His sister, Coletta Albright; his sister-in-law, Tieng Donahue; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

Friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM Monday in the Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg, Please go directly to the church.  Private interment will follow at a later date.  

The Donahue family would like to thank the staff of Independence Health Westmoreland Hospital, especially those in the Emergency Department, 1st Floor, and Home Hospice for the kindness and care provided.
