R. Donald Sullenberger

R. Donald Sullenberger, 87, of Kecksburg, died Friday, July 17, 2026 at home.  He was born February 20, 1939 in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Nellie L. Sullenberger.  Don served with the US Army and Army Reserves.  Prior to retirement he worked 25 years at Chelsted Motors in Greensburg then later at 7 Springs Mountain Resort in Champion.  He was a member of Hecla Sportsmen’s Club and loved cars.  He is survived by his wife, Carol A. (Stouffer) Sullenberger and his daughter, Sarah Dunn and husband Wes of Ligonier.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday, July 20, 2026 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  Funeral services and interment will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Fairview Cemetery chapel with Pastor John Blackburn officiating.  Please go directly to the cemetery chapel on Tuesday.
