Phyllis (D’Astolfo) Robosky, 81, of Derry, passed away in her home on Friday, May 13, 2022. She was born in Greensburg to the late Rocco and Elvira D’Astolfo. Phyllis devoted her life to her family and looked forward to cooking holiday meals. She spent many years working as a cook at Caruso’s Restaurant in South Greensburg while continuing to be a homemaker for her family. She also worked in the community room kitchen at Hempfield Towers where she previously resided. Playing bingo was one of her favorite pastimes, especially with her late mother. She had many challenges throughout her life but faced everything with strength and determination and could find humor in every situation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Donald Robosky; and her sister, Ann Hoyle. She is survived by many loving family members, her children, Donald Robosky Jr. (Jo Ann), Lisa Shuey, and John Robosky (Missy); grandchildren, Donald Robosky III (Reeva), Rikk Edmunds, Tiffany Gibson, Tyler Shuey (Loran), Ranae Poponick (Josh), Kassi Schmidt (Greg), Jenna Brannigan (Tyler), and Andrew Robosky; her great-grandchildren whom she adored, Anthony, Zaiden, Gage, Derik, Levi, Noah, and Lincoln; siblings, Joseph D’Astolfo (Carolyn), Anthony D’Astolfo, Rocco D’Astolfo, Mary Stahl, Joann Sedunov, Donna Keefe (Joe), and Sandy Shank (John); and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral liturgy will begin at 10 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.
