Phyllis E. Pellis

Phyllis E. Pellis, 90, formerly of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in Casey House Hospice in Rockville, MD.  She was born on October 2,1934, in Greensburg.  She graduated from Greensburg High School and retired after a lifetime tenure at Verizon in Greensburg, PA.  Phyllis was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Massi Pellis; her father, Roger E. Pellis; and brother, Joseph E. Pellis.  She is survived by sister, Anita Pellis Diem; brother, Roger E. Pellis; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  Friends will be received from 5 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.   The family wants to acknowledge special thanks to Grace House Assisted Living in Silver Spring MD, and Casey House Hospice in Rockville, MD.  Donations in Phyllis's memory may be made to these two facilities.  www.bachafh.com
