Perry F. "Hite" Leonard

Perry F. “Hite” Leonard, 75, of Owensdale, died Thursday, January 2, 2025 at home.  He was born January 28, 1949 in Latrobe, a son of the late James F. and Mary Ann (Jones) Leonard.  Hite was a self-employed farmer, he loved animals, gardening and going to auctions.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, June L. Knight and a brother, Larry E. Leonard.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou (Roddy) Leonard, his son, Perry F. “Curly” Leonard and wife Lisa of Mt. Pleasant Township, his daughter, Tracy Sipe and husband Waylon of Connellsville, 5 grandchildren, Alesha and Jessie Leonard and Britney, Haylie and Adam Reynolds, 5 great grandchildren, Bella and Colton Thomas, Silas & Crystal Reynolds and Emery Piktel, a brother, James L. Leonard of Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday with The Rev. David H. Clement officiating.  Interment will follow in Fort Palmer Cemetery, Fairfield Township.
