Patricia A. (Serenko) Debich, 88, of Greensburg, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on December 22, 1936, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Stephan and Elizabeth (Yuhas) Serenko. Prior to retirement she had been a registered nurse at Monsour Hospital, Jeannette and Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was a member of St. Paul Parish where she was very active in the yearly Trash n Treasure sale and the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Pennsylvania Nurses Association. Patricia loved reading, bowling, and going to the casino.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Debich; her sister, Janice Spritz; and her brother, Stephan Serenko. She is survived by four children, Diane Spicer (Scott), Karen Kane (Robert), Charles Debich (Debbie), and Michael Debich (Nancy); eight grandchildren, Kayla Amante (Jason) and Marisa Eddington (Wesley) and their mother Diane Hamlin, Elizabeth, Ashley, and Nicholas Debich and their mother, Christina Debich, and Tara Miller (Jacob), Alana Kane, and Andrew Spicer; three great-grandchildren, Oliver, Aiden, and Eliza; her sister, Yvonne Cannon; her brother, John Serenko (Raeann); and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 11 AM Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 11:30 AM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. The St. Paul Parish Rosary Altar Society will pray the rosary at 3:30 PM Tuesday in the funeral home and the Angels of Westmoreland Honor Guard will conduct a service at 7 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.
