Nora A. (Manzi) Strizzi

Nora A. (Manzi) Strizzi, 86, of Greensburg, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Victoria Manor, Oakdale.  She was born August 12, 1932 in Crabtree, a daughter of the late William and Maria (Giuliani) Manzi.  Prior to retirement she had been a sales associate by Royer’s Department Store and J.C. Penney at Greengate Mall.  She was a member of St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Nora enjoyed cooking, baking, bowling and playing cards. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick F. Strizzi on June 2, 2018, her brother Abraham Manzi and her sister Catherine Ciampini.  She is survived by four daughters: Michele Merlino and husband Keith of Oakdale; Darlene Allison and husband Ric of Greensburg; Nancy Laskoski and husband Jim of Greensburg; and Lynn Whitmore and husband Scott of Monroeville; 8 grandchildren: Greg (Jenny), Kristen (William), Megan, Brian, Dominic, Peter, Isabella and Julie; 5 great grandchildren: Rylee, Danielle, Braden, Madison and Clayton;  and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 3 to 7 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 12:00 PM Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 12:30 PM in St. Paul Parish, Greensburg.  Interment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery. www.bachafh.com
