Nicholas J. Macey, 33, of Bolivar (Fairfield Township), died Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born November 3, 1988, in Latrobe, a son of Richard F. and Kelli A. (Grimm) Macey of Latrobe. He was a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School class of 2007 and worked 12 years at Pace Industries, Derry Township. Nick loved fishing, music and playing the guitar. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rose and James Macey and his maternal grandfather, Kenneth C. Grimm. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Sarah Lynn Macey, his brother, Cody Macey and wife Megan of Latrobe, his nephew and niece, Colton and Leah Macey, maternal grandmother, Ethel Grimm of Greensburg, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Private services were held at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasant Unity, and interment followed in Fairview Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for his daughter Sarah.
