With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Paul Secosky, of Lawrenceville, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the age of 51, due to an automobile accident. He was born February 2, 1975, in Greensburg, a loving son of Paul and Georgetta (Uhrinek) Secosky.
Michael was a 1993 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School and a 1997 graduate of Penn State University. He held many successful titles in his career of software engineering, including his most recent role of Vice President of Technology at Wolfe, LLC. He was a member of St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Pittsburgh. Michael loved ice hockey and was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan. He also enjoyed fly fishing and was a member of Trout Unlimited.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving twin brother, Matthew Paul Secosky (Alexis McCune); and his loving sister, Melissa Beth Secosky Chang (Sean Chang). He was a cherished uncle to Dylan Paul Chang, Hailey Beth Chang, and Xander William Secosky, who lovingly referred to him as “Uncle Zip”. Michael is also survived by the love of his life, Stephanie Mudrick; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral mass will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday, May 6, 2026, in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, 300 N. Main St., Greensburg. Please go directly to the church.
