Michael S. Robinson

Michael S. Robinson, 38, of Hempfield Township, died Thursday, June 9, 2022 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born October 15, 1983 in Pittsburgh, a son of Gerald C. and Sandra J. (Newhouse) Robinson of Hempfield Township.  Mike was a graduate of Hempfield Area High School class of 2002 then received his bachelors degree from I.U.P.  He was employed as a financial planner with PNC Bank in Pittsburgh.  Mike enjoyed fishing, WWE Wrestling and his dogs Bo and Smokey.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty (Jordan) Sabbers and paternal grandfather, Gerald Robinson.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Dana Shafer and wife Donna of Greensburg, Timothy Robinson and wife Loretta with the US Army stationed in Okinawa, Japan and Christopher Robinson and wife Cheryl of North Huntingdon, nieces and nephews, Jonathan, Joshua and Olivia Shafer, Alex, Andrew, Ava and Luke Robinson, paternal grandmother, Sue (Chemski) Robinson of Cape Coral, FL, several aunts, uncles and cousins.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, where funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday with The Rev. Almon Birt officiating.  Interment will follow in Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.  If desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Westmoreland County Humane Society, PO Box 1552, Greensburg, PA  15601.
