Michael R. Emanuel

Michael R. Emanuel, 61, of Southwest Greensburg, died Sunday, September 12, 2021, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  He was born February 9, 1960, in Greensburg, a son of the late Alex D. Emanuel and Yolanda “Helen” (Petroy) Emanuel.  Prior to retirement he had been a district area manager for Sunoco.  He was also the owner and operator of Harry’s Bar in Greensburg.  He attended Zion’s Lutheran Church, Greensburg.  Michael was a member of the 333 Club, Ash Club, and VFW Post No. 33, all of Greensburg.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Emanuel.  He is survived by his wife, Kathy L. (Wineman) Emanuel; two sons, Joshua M. Emanuel, of Greensburg, and Alexander S. Emanuel (Kacie), of Greensburg; two granddaughters, Bella and Kora; many extended family; and everyone who loved him.  Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Thursday in Zion’s Lutheran Church, 140 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg with the Rev. Brian B. Chaffee officiating.  Please go directly to the church.  Face masks are mandatory at the church.  Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Westmoreland County, P.O.
