Mary Louise (Detore) Danks

Mary Louise (Detore) Danks, 88, of Greensburg, died Friday, September 6, 2024, in UPMC Mercy Hospital.  She was born September 30, 1935, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Anthony “Tony” and Lucy (Cepullio) Detore.  Prior to retirement she had worked many years for the Water Authority of Westmoreland County.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg. In her free time, Mary enjoyed golfing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Danks; and three brothers, Camillo, Anthony, and Richard Detore.  She is survived by her brother, Vince Detore and wife Monica; and several nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Prayers will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9:30 AM in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, Greensburg.
