Obituary
Mary Jo Wright, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 17, 1946, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Repasky. Mary Jo is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harry Wright; and five children, sons Dr. H. Jeff (Meagan) Wright, of Nolanville, Texas, Jonathan (Kelly) Wright, of Virginia Beach, VA, and daughters, Sarah (David) Montag, of Edina, MN, Dr. Susan Wright, of Bethesda, MD, and Rebecca (Joseph) Search, of Harrisburg, PA; 17 grandchildren; four siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a 1968 graduate of Seton Hill College. With her husband, Mary Jo was the co-owner and administrator of Stone Brook Manor, a personal care home in Manor, PA, for 35 years. Most importantly, she was a loving, selfless, and devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother and will be remembered for her endless patience and resilience.
At Mary Jo’s request, there will be no public visitation. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon on a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to fund Parkinson’s disease research at the Van Andel Institute (vai.org). LEO M.
