Mary Jane Yarabinetz

Mary Jane Yarabinetz, 78, of Unity Township, died Wednesday, September 18, 2024 in Brookdale Senior Living, Latrobe.  She was born September 30, 1945 in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Michael and Ann V. (Pavick) Yarabinetz.  She was a graduate of Hurst High School and prior to retirement worked as an executive assistant at Kennametal, Inc., Latrobe.  Jane was member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Greensburg, loved flowers and greatly enjoyed her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Dorothy Ann Yarabinetz.  She is survived by 2 brothers, Thomas M. Yarabinetz and wife Donna and Andrew J. Yarabinetz and wife Patty all of Unity Township, a sister, Kathleen Jones of Unity Township, 7 nieces and nephews, Lisa Young, Doug Yarabinetz and wife Elaine, Tim Jones, Todd Jones, Holly Bova and husband Tony, Ashley Santi and husband Stephen and Megan Yarabinetz, 9 great nieces and nephews, Kayla Young, McKenna, Avery and Brady Yarabinetz, Tony Michael Bova, Coleson, Madalyn, Reese and Rylee Santi.  Friends are invited to the Divine Liturgy at 11 AM Friday in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 624 E. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg.  Please go directly to the church.  Private interment will follow in St. Mary Byzantine Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.  The family would like to thank Maggie, Tammy and Charlene from Brookdale for their care.  LEO M.
