Mary Anne (Tinkey) Bungard

Mary Anne Bungard, 92, of Greensburg, died Monday, September 18, 2023 in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg.  She was born November 7, 1930 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Russell J. and Kathryn (Ritenour) Tinkey.  Prior to retirement she was a secretary for 42 years for Greensburg Salem School District.  She was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star #435, Greensburg.  Mary enjoyed travelling with her husband on his charter bus trips.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Walter Bungard in 2008 and her brother, Richard Tinkey.  She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  Friends will be received from 10 AM to 11 AM Friday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM with The Rev. Aimee W. Twigg officiating.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.  Mary requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or to Otterbein United Methodist Church.
