Mary E. (Bates) Brisbane

Mary E. Brisbane, 88, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in her home.  She was born May 12, 1937, in Alverton, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Bailey) and William Bates.  Prior to retirement she had been employed by Bell Telephone. She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Giz” Brisbane; brother, George Bates; sister, Linda Blissman and brother-in-law, Robert Blissman.  She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sally Bates; niece, Elizabeth Bush; nephew, Jason Bates and wife Sara; great-nieces and nephews, Addison, Emily, and Caroline Bush, Lucia and Rocco Bates.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg.  Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jenn Frayer-Griggs officiating.  Interment will follow in Westmoreland Memorial Park.  www.bachafh.com
