Marlene L. Dillon, 85, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at her home. She was born May 12, 1940 in Stahlstown, a daughter of the late Anthony R. and Sophie P. (Curaney) Zelenske. Prior to retirement she worked in the financial aid office and bookstore at Westmoreland County Community College, Youngwood. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Trauger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Dillon, 2 sons, Bryan R. Dillon and Ricky R. Dillon and her sister, Loretta Briercheck. She is survived by her daughter, Jaydine Dillon at home, her son, Ryan Dillon (Tina) of Derry, 6 grandchildren, Hannah, Sophia, Abagail, Claire, Shane (Brooke) and Nicole (Micah) and a great granddaughter Asha. Marlene was also very appreciative of her “neighborhood family”. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 AM Monday, October 13 at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, at which time funeral services will be held with The Rev. L. Samuel Scheiderer officiating. Private interment in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.
