Mark E. Sukay, 66, of Mount Pleasant Township, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026, in his home surrounded by his loving family after a hard-fought battle with Glioblastoma for the past 22 months. He was born on April 9, 1960, in Jeannette, a son of Joann Sukay, of Greensburg, and the late David L. Sukay. During his 40-year career in the natural gas industry, he was a project manager and led the build of many natural gas facilities. Mark’s passions included horseback riding with his father-in-law, Fremont, boating, riding his Harley Davidson, snowmobiling, skiing, hunting, clay shooting, and golf. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joyce A. (Dell) Sukay; his children, Erica Sukay, and Nicholas Sukay and wife Brittany; three grandchildren who he adored, Olivia, Eli, and Kyla Sukay; two brothers, Jeffrey Sukay (Nora), and Brian Sukay and (Annah); his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David Dell (Audrey), and Linda Shultz (Robert); and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 PM Monday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. A funeral service will begin at 11 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with Minister Brad Dell officiating. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Glioblastoma Research Organization, 2045 Biscayne Blvd #189, Miami, FL 33137, or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
