Mark William Christie

Mark William Christie, 63, of Mt. Pleasant Township, died Monday, August 19, 2024 at home.  He was born August 23, 1960, a son of the late William “Bill” and Ruth (Welch) Christie.  He was a talented body shop technician and a mechanic.  In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his brother Gregory Christie.  He is survived by his significant other, Theresa Lowther and her daughter Hailey Lowther.  Mark is also survived by his daughters, Kayla Johnson (Matt) and Alexis Christie (Chris) and a grandson Aiden.  Mark also had a very special cousin, Judy Welty, that was always there to help him.  He is also survived by a niece, 2 great nephews, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.  As per family wishes, there will be no public visitation or services.  LEO M.
