Marilee K. (Krivoniak) Butler

Marilee K. Butler, 66, of Weltytown, died Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her home.  She was born August 23, 1954 in Greensburg, a daughter of the late John C. and Mary Margaret (Krupp) Krivoniak.  Prior to retirement she worked at Commercial Bank & Trust of PA, Pleasant Unity office.  She was a member of St. Florian Catholic Church, United, where she was very active with many aspects including decorating the church for holidays as well as a pierogie and kolache maker for many years.  Marilee was a former Superintendent of the Westmoreland Agricultural Fair and had been involved many years with the Mountain View 4-H club.  She is survived by her husband, Leslie B. Butler, her son, Brad M. Butler and wife Emily of Unity Township, her daughter, Julie M. Butler at home, two grandchildren, Logan and Avery Butler, three brothers, John C. and wife Tina of Greensburg, Daniel M. and wife Diane of Latrobe and David P. Krivoniak and wife Kathy of Reading, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and good friends.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Monday, February 15 at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity.  A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday in St. Florian Church with The Rev. William C. McGuirk as celebrant.  Interment will follow in St. Florian Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant Township.  Please be prepared to adhere to all current health guidelines, including face masks and social distancing.  Funeral home occupancy will be limited as well.  The family would like to thank UPMC Hospice for their wonderful care.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC Magee Hospital, Forbes Tower Suite 8084, 3600 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
