Marie Moffa, 97, of Greensburg, died Saturday, August 3, 2024, in Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. She was born June 20, 1927, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Daniel and Antoinette (DiCesere) Moffa. Prior to retirement she had worked in the laboratory of Westmoreland Hospital in Greensburg for over 40 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg. Marie enjoyed reading, shopping, and traveling, and especially cherished the moments she spent with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Carmen Moffa and Daniel Moffa; her sister, Josephine (Moffa) Pastor; her nephew, Daniel Moffa; and her sister-in-law, Mary Jo Moffa. She is survived by her nephews, Tom Pastor, Jeff Pastor, Brian Pastor, David Moffa, Jay Moffa, and Marcus Moffa; her nieces, Debbie Kosan and Becky Yaniro; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; one great-great-niece; and her sister-in-law, Bernadette Moffa. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 516 Stanton Street, Greensburg. Prayers will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Greensburg.
